Sentences: Tatoeba

Vocamo's content is reviewed and corrected continuously.

Some sentences and conversation lines come from the Tatoeba project (tatoeba.org). Tatoeba sentences are licensed under CC BY 2.0 FR. Below you'll find every sentence we use, with its author on Tatoeba and a link to the original. Most sentences appear unchanged in the app; in a few places only part of a sentence is used, in which case the list shows the full original sentence.

Sounds

Most of Vocamo's sounds are synthesised in-house. Some use excerpts from Sonniss' #GameAudioGDC pack as layers; its licence allows commercial use without attribution, but we credit it with thanks. CC0 sounds by Kenney (kenney.nl) are credited as a courtesy.

The speech of the conversation partners and the guide is AI-generated (ElevenLabs). The voices are Vocamo's own character voices, not imitations of real people.
